Goblins & the next Storytelling Circle in Ceredigion!


Hello folks!

Happy Friday the 13th! Three weeks to go until our October storytelling circle in the Bookshop by the Sea... The nights are drawing in and it's the perfect time for some stories in a cosy bookshop. Come and listen or have a go...

It's also time to SAVE THE DATE for the Goblin Masquerade in 2025!!!

Saturday 8th March 2025

Borth Community Hall

1pm-6pm - the goblin market (with free entry and entertainment all day!)

7-11pm - the fairytale ball! (an evening of music and dancing where you're encouraged to be your fantastical selves - stay tuned for performers and tickets!)

I'll be putting out a call for volunteers, stallholders, and performers next month, so start musing on whether you'd like to come and play...

October Fables Coming Soon

Our next Fables is on Saturday 5th October at The Bookshop by the Sea, Aberystwyth, 7pm - 8:30pm - donations welcome, no-one turned away for lack of funds. Bring a tale to tell if you like, it's a safe space to try things out. (EVENT PAGE - or - Join the Fables FB Group Here)

We'll also be back in December so get those dates in your diary!

Other Storytelling Adventures

Local storyteller Milly Jackdaw is taking her solo show - Mochyn Merddyn - on tour! Starting on 26th September in Ammanford, find out about Milly's tour here.

And Crankie maker-extraordinaire Peter Stevenson will be sharing stories in Narbeth that same day! Click here for Crankie dates.

The Aberystwyth Steampunk crew are back in Aberystwyth in October, on 12th and 13th at the Rhiedol Railway, and I'll be offering a storytelling workshop on the Sunday - find all the Steampunky details here.

Hello folks! I've finally recovered from the mischief that was The THIRD Goblin Masquerade in Borth, organised by the Goblin Circus, which was utterly wonderful! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for the Market and the Ball, to all the performers and traders and volunteers who made it possible. Can't wait for next year...
